How to Use the Reports

Summary

The Reports tab of Team Insights is designed to provide a range of visual reports which allow you to easily assess user pathway progress within key areas of your organisation. Each report can be easily sorted, filtered and downloaded.

Section 1 - Red, Amber and Green (RAG) Report

The RAG Report is a default report, which will be visible to you regardless of your organisation. This report allows you to view the completion status of up to 5 pathways at once for a selection of users.

Test pathway content page

Upon first opening the report, you’ll be prompted to select up to 5 pathways which you want to include in the report. You’ll need to select the required pathways and click “Save changes” to continue.

Once the pathways have been selected, the table will load all users, depending on your hierarchy/permissions.

As shown in the screenshot above, each user will be displayed in the first column and each selected pathway will display in the columns that follow. For each pathway, the colour will show as either one of the following:

  • Green - Completed
  • Amber - In progress
  • Red - Allocated

Section 2 - Pathways by User

The Pathways by User report is another default report, which will be visible to you regardless of your organisation. This report allows you to view the overall completion status of all pathways for a given selection of users.

You can apply filters by using the filter modal provided above the report table. By default, with no filters applied, you’ll be able to view all users based on your hierarchy/permissions.

At a glance, this report provides a range of different information and key compliance metrics. We’ll touch more on these below:

  • User - The name of the user.
  • Number of Pathways - The number of pathways that have been allocated to the user.
  • Combined percentage -  This refers to their completion progress across all pathways they’ve been allocated to, which in this case is just one pathway. As you’ll see from “Test user5” in the screenshot above, their combined percentage is currently 33% as they’ve completed ⅓ of the activities required to complete the pathway. So, this combined percentage value will take into account in-progress pathways as well as fully completed ones, providing an overall completion percentage across all pathways for each user.
  • Not started/ In progress/ Completed - These columns will show a count of each of the status’ across all pathways. For example, if a user has completed 3 pathways the completed column will show a value of 3.
  • Compliance rate - This value is based upon the percentage of pathways which are completed prior to the due date. This will show as blank until a user has completed a pathway. Based on whether or not they completed prior to the due date this will influence their overall compliance rate percentage for this report.
  • Overdue/ Due soon - These columns will show a count of each of the status’ across all pathways. For example, if a user has 3 pathways which are overdue the overdue column will show a value of 3.

Section 3 - Hierarchy Field Reports

All other reports visible on the Reports tab will be unique to your organisation and the hierarchy profile fields which you have setup.

Each report will display data in the same format as the Pathways by User report, except only users that sit within the specified hierarchy profile fields will be visible within the report. As these reports are already filtered down based on hierarchy fields, there are no additional filters which can be applied.
