Summary
Your organisation’s brand colours are visible across your site. This guide will show you how to alter these brand colours on the platform.
Step 1 - Navigate
Your brand colours are managed within the “Boost” theme which is the theme used for styling your platform. You can find the Boost theme page on your platform by going to the following, whilst logged in as a site administrator:
Site Administration > Appearance > Themes > Boost
Step 2 - Changing brand colours
With the Boost page open, you’ll see that there are two different tabs; “General settings” and “Advanced settings”. We’ll touch on how each of these can be used in order to make changes to the brand colours used across your site.
Brand colour basics
Under the “General settings” tab, scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the section “Brand colour”. In this area you can either manually select the brand colour you want to use or for more specific colour choices you can enter the hex code value in the text area provided.
This brand colour option will alter the accent colour used across your site, this can be found in various different areas of the platform from general text to borders and icons.
Brand colour advanced
If you require more advanced configurability of the brand colours used across your site then you can click into the “ Advanced settings” tab. Within this area, scroll down to the “Raw SCSS” section, this is where you will be able to add your SCSS or CSS code to implement more specific styling changes to your platform.
Step 3 - Save
Once you have made the required changes to the brand colours on your site, you can then scroll to the bottom of the page and click “save changes”.
