Blocks are modular areas that can be added to the right side of your Dashboard Page or to the right side of Course pages by either clicking on the "Customise this page" button or the "Turn Editing on" button within their respective locations. The "Add a Block" button can be found within the Sliding Navigation Drawer once these buttons have been enabled, below the "Site Administration" button.

Block areas that are available

Below are the areas that can be added through the use of the "Add a new block" button on either the Dashboard or Course page:

  • Admin Bookmarks
  • Administration
  • Anders Pink

  • Comments
  • Community Finder

Some of these areas are more useful than others and some are default on the Moodle site and have less of a use in regards to how the sites are used for Compliance purposes and not used within a Academic Institution.
